Assistant Finance Manager (Urgent Hiring)

  • Monthly, quarterly, yearly reporting of financial report and schedules submitted to HQ in the timely manners.
  • Provide guidance and train the existing executive to handle full set of accounts
  • Reconcile monthly students number from billing to the admission number
  • Provide financial analysis documentation on P&L and balance sheet significant variance month by month or corresponding period YTD.
  • Receivables monitoring, questions and highlight for long overdue or those default with agreed payment schedule
  • Prepare draft corporate tax computation and deferred tax (if applicable) in the quarterly basis
  • Review payment vouchers, managing petty cash and staff reimbursement to highlight any unusual transactions not within ordinary business
  • Prepare annual financial budget and quarterly forecast with justification of the variances
  • Assist to manage treasury and cash flow planning
  • Maintain fixed assets register and all other balance sheet schedule
  • Assist in enhancement of the financial and management system, internal control, policies and procedures
  • Liaise with banker, internal auditors, external auditors, tax agents and corporate secretary where appropriate
  • Other ad hoc duties as assigned.

    Requirement
  • 5+ years of working experience in full sets, operational finance (with min 2 years of managerial experiences)
  • Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline (or equivalent professional qualifications)
  • Be as specific as possible, using numbers where possible:
  • Education sector will be advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills • Proficient in MS Office applications (Ms Excel Formulas);
  • IT savvy, Knowledge of ACCPAC is a MUST
  • Knowledge of corporate tax and deferred tax computation • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Audit Experience is a plus
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English.
