Assistant Manager, Certificate Servicing (Project & System)

This role has the key responsibility to lead the team, to ensure the delivery and implementation of system, support and to deliver the business solutions to users. He/She also works as the liaison and the reference point between system analyst and business users in defining requirements for system development.

Key Accountabilities

• To develop the Business Scenario (test plan) and test scripting in ensuring they are in line with the business requirements.
• To review business requirements and test plan / test scripts in ensuring they are in line with the business requirements.
• Analyze business issues and recommends best practices and technical expertise and solves complex problems by applying innovative solutions.

• Ensure personal development for self improvement and build positive working relationships within the team
• Perform related duties and responsibilities as assigned by superior from time to time.
• To conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Operation Readiness Test (ORT).
• To prepare training slide and conduct training or workshop where necessary after implementation.
• Ensure and provide full support towards department's system issue to rectify/enhance errors within the agreed timeline.
• Business scenarios (test plan) and test scripting are documented, reviewed and signed off by HOD accordingly.

• Solution provider and best practices adopted in solving business issues.
• Project milestones and objectives achieved within project timeline.
• Attend training courses and organizes team events.
• Assignments are completed on time with quality delivery.
• UAT and Operation Readiness Test (ORT) are completed as per project timeline.
• Training conducted and training materials shared to users after implementation
• Errors / issues are resolved within the agreed timeline.
  
  
  

Qualification and Experience

• 4 - 5 years experience in Life Insurance Industry with basic operational knowledge in operations.
• Knowledge of Takaful model, products and familiarity with Day 2 modules with experienced in handling projects will be an added advantage.
• Able to Interprets customer needs, assesses requirements and identifies solutions to non-standard request independently.
• Competent in Microsoft Office application (Excel, VBA, Word, Power Point) and any other programming language
• Good communication skill
• Good command in English & Bahasa Malaysia
• Good analytical and problem solving skills
• Able to work under pressure and deliver within tight deadlines.
