Assistant Manager, Group Tax

Responsibilities

• Monitoring overall tax compliance status of operating units to ensure compliance within the stipulated deadlines. This includes corporate tax, indirect tax, transfer pricing, foreign tax.
• Review all relevant tax returns, tax computations and supporting schedules of operating units
• Prepare tax advisory and attend to operating units’ queries with guidance and supervision from superior
• Maintain and upkeep tax database
• Assist in research of technical issues
• Produce quantification of tax impact and schedules of tax analysis
• Acting as the main liaison with Division Tax, finance personnel of operating units for data gathering
• Liaison with relevant Authorities for submissions or clarifications

Requirements

• Degree/Professional qualification in Finance/Accountancy or other related courses.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience.
