Assistant Manager/ Senior Auditor (Based in PJ 33, Petaling Jaya)

About the Role:

This is a full-time Assistant Manager/Senior Auditor role located in Malaysia, who is a member of the Regional Internal Audit team for the Asia Pacific Region. This role will perform internal audit activities for Olympus's affiliated companies.

• Conduct JSOX audit, financial, operational, IT, Compliance audits and third-party audits for group-affiliated companies.
• Assist in the company's risk assessment, identifying risk and optimizing the control process, and proposing audit areas as part of the annual audit plan.
• Plan, prepare, and execute assurance and advisory audit projects by adopting a risk-based approach to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of the internal controls of the organization.
• Develop valuable relationships and demonstrate problem-solving abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Must thrive in a fast-paced environment and have an aptitude for understanding business processes from both an operational and audit standpoint to provide meaningful and constructive recommendations.

What we are looking for:

• University degree holder in accounting, finance, IT, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 5 to 6 years of experience in internal or external audit gained from MNC, listed company, or Big 4 firm.
• Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., CPA, CIA, CISA) are preferred.
• The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of IFRS, risk management, and COSO framework. Strong expertise in cybersecurity and IT security hands-on experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines with minimal oversight.
• Good interpersonal skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively (both written and verbal) with all levels within the organization.
• Logical approach to identifying and evaluating issues and problem solving, strong analytical capability.
