Your ‘day to day’
The Assoc. Manager Commercial Planning - Device Deployment is responsible for designing, leading and optimizing the end-to-end deployment strategy for selling devices through indirect retail channels. This role ensures seamless transition from high-level company strategy to actionable deployments, overseeing every stage of the process, from market analysis to post-deployment performance evaluation.
You will be accountable to:
Deployment Planning
- Key contact point from Commercial Planning for all SFP device selling related matters for Indirect Retail.
- Lead the development of Indirect Retail's deployment strategy for SFP device, ensuring alignment with company-wide objectives and business goals.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with all level of stakeholders for all activities involved in deployment process, including scheduling, resource management and risk mitigation.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of initiatives deployment, from initial planning and resources allocation to post-deployment analysis and performance evaluation.
- Communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels, providing updates on deployment progress, challenges, and successes.
- Work closely with field sales to ensure alignment on objectives, timelines and resources for successful deployment.
- Continuously monitor industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes to identify new opportunities for market expansion.
Program Performance
- Lead the development and design of SFP device incentive programs for General Trade retailers.
- Design and implement comprehensive control processes for each program and ensuring proper audits are in place.
- Develop KPIs to track the effectiveness of each program and ensure they remain relevant and impactful, incorporating new trends or changes in business strategy.
- Regularly analyze and report on program performance, market penetration, and trade insights to identify and recommend areas for improvement and growth.
- Implement improvements based on performance analysis to optimize sales and enhance the effectives of program.
- Manage budget for device incentive programs, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to meet program goals while staying within budget constraints.
Cycle Communication & Support
- Responsible for monthly cycle brief materials for all SFP device related initiative across Indirect Retail.
- Ensure clear and consistent communication of all execution details to commercial forces, helping them to understand the goals, rewards, and criteria for success.
- Responsible to deploy and manage all device work tools for Commercial Forces'
- Perform field visit/ work with sessions with Zonal Business Supervisor to gather insights for deployment enhancement & continuous improvement in processes
- Regularly communicate with commercial forces to gather feedback on program effectiveness and execution challenges, adjusting strategies / plans as necessary.
- Channel collected feedback to the respective stakeholders in a timely manner
TPOSM Allocation
- Perform forecasting & planning for TPOSM allocation
- Ensure TPOSM allocation share to Content team for production is accurate to avoid any deployment hiccups
- Manage TPOSM replenishment wherever needed
- Monitor production progress via close tracking & follow-up to ensure TPOSM delivery prior to execution
Others
- Act as an advisor to advise respective stakeholders for the necessary setups i.e. DTE, iSMS call card, price list & etc.
- Ensure the marketing information, policies & procedures are always updated and ensure PMM SOP (e.g. ETPA, PO, contract management & etc.) is compiled to.
You will excel in this role should you have the below requirements:
- Min. 5 years of working experience in Field Sales/ Trade Marketing, preferably in the FMCG sector
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills with strong financial acumen.
- Experienced in engaging with different business stakeholders and possesses strong influencing skills.
- Well-developed critical thinking skills, with an ability to apply logic and challenge assumptions.
- Computer savvy especially in MS Office.
- Strong knowledge in regulatory requirements.
