Role specific

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant information, conduct in-depth research, and analyse industry trends and market conditions.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant policy developments, regulations, market and industry trends in Malaysia and globally.
• Prepare financial projections and analyse levers and risks to achieve financial objectives.
• Assist in the development of policy recommendations and strategic advice for clients based on thorough economic analysis.
• Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
• Participate in client meetings, presentations, and negotiations, providing insights and recommendations based on thorough analysis and industry knowledge.
• Support business development efforts by identifying potential client opportunities, assisting in proposal preparation, and participating in marketing initiatives

Skills, Experience And Qualifications

• Fresh graduate with Degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Economics, Actuarial, Data, Statistics or a related field.
• Recent graduate with less than 12 months of work experience in the areas of financial advisory, corporate finance, economic analysis, corporate strategy or related fields
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with data analytics tools is a plus.
