What You Can Expect

The Product Manager will lead the end-to-end management of Zimmer Biomet’s assigned product portfolio, driving commercial success through strategic planning, sales forecasting, and execution of marketing initiatives. This role serves as the key bridge between Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Regional teams to ensure sustainable business growth and market leadership in the orthopedic segment.

How You'll Create Impact

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

  • Product Management & Strategy
  • Manage full product lifecycle — from product introduction, positioning, and pricing, to phase-out planning.
  • Develop and implement product strategies aligned with Zimmer Biomet’s regional objectives and local market opportunities.
  • Conduct portfolio analysis and recommend product rationalization or expansion based on performance and market needs.
  • Support sales teams with in-depth product knowledge, competitive insights, and clinical evidence.
  • Sales Projection & Forecasting
  • Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts for assigned portfolio.
  • Work closely with Sales and Supply Chain to ensure optimal inventory and product availability.
  • Monitor sales trends and variances versus plan; identify gaps and implement corrective actions.
  • Support AOP (Annual Operating Plan) preparation with robust market and product-level data.
  • Marketing & Demand Generation
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns, workshops, and product education programs in collaboration with KOLs and internal teams.
  • Drive launch plans for new products, including marketing materials, surgeon engagement, and training coordination.
  • Analyze competitor activities, market share, and pricing landscape to develop effective marketing responses.
  • Manage marketing budgets efficiently and track ROI of marketing initiatives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Regional Marketing and Commercial teams to align on strategy, messaging, and product positioning.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Training, Regulatory, and Supply Chain to ensure smooth product introduction and compliance.
  • Provide product insights and business cases to leadership for portfolio investment decisions.

Your Background

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Science, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Product Management, Marketing, or Sales within the Medical Device or Healthcare industry.
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen, with proven experience in forecasting and market analysis.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and business analytics tools.
  • Results-driven, self-motivated, and able to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.

Travel Expectations

Need to travel locally and overseas approx..30% , work outside of normal business hours and over the weekends in order to achieve expected objectives.
