About The Role

We are looking for a results-driven and client-focused Associate Specialist to join our Transaction Banking SME & Commercial Sales team at RHB Banking Group. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving revenue growth and market share through the promotion and utilization of Transaction Banking products and services. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver tailored solutions that address the evolving needs of our SME and Commercial Banking clients.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Drive and grow new Transaction Banking revenue and market share with assigned customers (existing and new) through strong collaboration with internal stakeholders
  • Optimize revenue generation from Transaction Banking product and service utilization across your assigned portfolio
  • Attain full ownership of trade and cash utilization for each assigned customer
  • Build deep understanding of customers’ business models, decision-making processes, and working capital requirements through regular engagement
  • Strengthen and up-tier relationships with customers by offering consultative, value-adding propositions
  • Conduct regular account planning sessions and reviews with SME/Commercial Banking teams
  • Foster strong working relationships with key internal stakeholders, including Relationship Managers, Deposit Teams, Product Squads, Service Partners/Operations, and Branches
  • Support the Team Lead and Circle Lead in executing targeted assignments, campaigns, plans, and strategies
  • Adhere strictly to the Bank’s product guidelines, policies, and procedures as outlined by relevant Product and Policy owners

What We're Looking For

  • A motivated professional with experience in banking sales, relationship management, or transaction banking
  • Strong customer-centric mindset with a consultative approach to solution selling
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • Self-driven with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Solid understanding of working capital products, trade, and cash management solutions
  • Familiarity with the needs and behaviors of SME and Commercial clients is an advantage
