The AV Technician cooperates with his / her superior to ensure the normal operation of hotel equipment. This role is responsible with all AV setup and maintenances works in the hotel as well as designated areas by his / her superior or assisting the Engineering department’s maintenance team in completing other maintenance work.

What will I be doing?

As the AV Technician, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• To plan and prepare AV requirements based on Banquet Event Orders (BEO) or on an adhoc basis.
• Conduct periodical Preventive Maintenance on all AV Equipment in the hotel.
• Update the Team on AV requirements and the current status of AV equipment currently held, highlighting limitations or improvements
• Handle job orders promptly for the installations, repairs and maintenance of all AV equipment. Must be able to handle minor electrical works, or able to provide workable initiatives when implementing solutions.
• To submit weekly plan/update to IS Manager on daily shift tasks, AV requests under BEO or sudden requests, etc.
• To assist other technical works when required.
• To update the daily and monthly checklist. Identify areas for improvement
• Performs any other related tasks assigned by the Team Leader / IS Manager from time to time.
• Save energy and control energy consumption.
• Perform other tasks assigned by the Management.

• Familiar with the operation principle and fault judgment method of large data centre infrastructure (power supply, air conditioning, fire control, security, monitoring, network, etc.).
• Willing to be engaged in the monitoring post for day shift and night shift for a long period and have enough time to study.
• Strong sense of responsibility, teamwork, professionalism and learning ability.
• Active and motivated in work, with a good sense of service.
