Building Service Manager

Position: Civil Manager, Civil & Infrastructure

Department: Site Services

Reporting to: Site Services Ops Manager

Education level requirement : Degree in Facilities Management/Building Services/Civil Engineering.

Preferred working experience : 8-10 years working in facilities management industry.

Job Description

• To manage soft services operation in the plant including SLA review, KPI and service renewal.
• Soft services are including but not limited to housekeeping, ground maintenance, cafeteria cleaning, recycling & non-recycling waste management, cafeteria operation, busses management, pest control, sewerage system maintenance, landscaping, hygiene services, gymnasium equipment, dock leveler, sanitization services, fish pond and aquarium services.
• To be responsible and supervise facilities infrastructure system and ensure its operational with no downtime to production.
• To plan and ensure daily repair and maintenance plan to any defect request on facilities infrastructure system.
• To monitor and responsible to all maintenance program under Civil division.
• To drive cost savings effort and align to company financial direction while continuously improve the delivery of services while maintaining good user experience.
• To ensure compliance to RBA and all other authority/regulatory and NXP standard.
• To report, keep track and monitor minor project progress on site.
• Ensure all work and findings are properly recorded and reported to management as and when necessary.
• To direct and provide technical guidance to technicians and general workers to execute in-house repair and maintenance works.
• To prepare technical report and compilation of technical data to support management decision.
• Ensure team meeting KPI and support management planning accordingly.
• Assist other department Engineers & Managers in planning work and execution.
• Attend and/ or supervise site visits related to civil & infrastructure system.
  
  

Requirement

• Possess knowledge and experience in construction, commissioning, and/or maintenance.
• Experienced in soft services management and procurement processes.
• Working experience with cleanroom environment and semiconductor industry will be added advantage.
• Capable of supervising a team of technicians/ general workers/ contractors/ vendors.
