The Business Development Executive must be proactive and results-oriented to help grow our business. In this role you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth. You will play a key role in expanding the company’s client base, promoting services, and supporting long-term business success through market intelligence and relationship building.

The Business Development Executive must be proactive and results-oriented to help grow our business. In this role you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth. You will play a key role in expanding the company’s client base, promoting services, and supporting long-term business success through market intelligence and relationship building.
Key Responsibilities And Tasks
- Identifying, qualifying and pursuing new sales leads
- Preparation of quotations and proposals as per customer requests
- Handling client objections and queries
- Monitoring portals for tenders/EOIs/RFIs
- Supporting Bids and Proposals Manager with preparation of tenders/EOIs/RFIs
- Liaising with GBEO team for tender support
- Overseeing supplier registration with new clients
- Registering new clients in CRM
- Providing customer service support to existing clients
- Creating and updating marketing media presentations as needed
- Keeping updated reports of sales department activities
- Developing good relationships and contractual rates with carriers
- Bachelor’s Degree in Administration/Business, Marketing, Sales or a related field or Certificate in Business related field
- Proven experience as Business Development Executive or similar role
- Proven experience in logistics and oil and gas industry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with tendering processes and oil and gas procurement
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to develop relationships globally
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Bundle all the necessary specialized resources for the industries serviced.
- Respond in a professional manner that is in line with BWS guidelines, business strategy, and interests.
- Ensure proper internal communication lines are clearly established.
- Assist in the integration of customers into the BWS organization.
- Act as a knowledge center.
- Give feedback.
- Have strong customer focus.
- Being able to always put the customer in the center, have a natural ability to communicate with customers and knows how to take care of customers.
- Being able capable of finding solutions for the customers, so they are satisfied as well as Blue Water is earning money.
- Have an overview and know when you can and should change in the conditions in order to maintain/keep a good and loyal customer.
- Ensure your managers receive all relevant information.
- Capable of adjusting your communication to the different types of personalities – towards customers, business connections, employees and colleagues.
- Always communicate with respect.
- Constantly aware of and open for developing the business – this requires that you know what is going on in the industry.
- Have focus on continuous improvements to improve better results.
- Being able to involve others and listen to their suggestions to develop the business and improving the working procedures.
- Implement Blue Water’s culture and strategy.
- Loyal to the culture and the strategy.
- Be a role model in the office and are a key fact to ensure that others follow the culture and the strategy.

- Always follow the set goals and tactical plans from the board of directors.

- Focus on continuously reducing Blue Water's environmental impact on the basis of the defined environmental targets and working towards Blue Water’s Sustainability Development Goals.
- Must have complete overview of your activities. This means that you work with solutions that are in Blue Water’s common interest.
- Able to create a general view and structure in a busy working day, and you use motivating delegation of both assignments and responsibility.
- Able to create trust in your relationship with customers, business connections and colleagues.
- Able to work in Blue Water’s interest and what is best for the company as a whole.
- Must have knowledge of economic key figures and can work out budgets and continuously follow-up on the budget.
- Aware of the economy of the office, and you make the necessary adjustments if the figures do not live up to the budget.
- Communicate the key figures to the manager and agree on adjustments.
- Ensure the office work efficiently with the IT tools and the set procedures.
