Your key responsibilties will be:
BJAK is Southeast Asia’s largest insurance and financial services platform. Headquartered in Malaysia, we help millions of users access affordable, transparent, and simplified financial products through Bjak.com. Our proprietary technologies - from custom APIs to AI-driven engines - are designed to simplify previously complex or inaccessible services, from insurance to investments.
We operate across Malaysia, Taiwan, and Japan, and are building next-generation AI systems to transform how people experience financial services in ASEAN.

What We’re Looking For

Your key responsibilties will be:
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations.
- Develop and execute strategies to expand Bjak’s presence in existing and new markets.
- Negotiate and close strategic deals, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Build strong relationships with external stakeholders, including corporates, institutions, and government bodies.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Work cross-functionally with Finance, Marketing, Operations, and HR to ensure execution of strategic initiatives.
- Provide regular updates and recommendations to the CEO on growth initiatives.
- Enjoy building partnerships and negotiating win-win outcomes.
- Can balance strategy with execution.
- Are comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and institutions.
- Have a sharp eye for market trends and opportunities.
- Can turn a vision into actionable, measurable outcomes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in business development, corporate strategy, or partnerships.
- Strong business acumen and ability to evaluate commercial opportunities.
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in fintech, insurtech, or tech-driven industries is an advantage.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans.
- Shape the strategic direction of Southeast Asia’s leading insurtech.
- Work directly with the CEO on high-impact initiatives.
