Join our Team: Business Development Manager, Asia, Terex Fuchs

The Business Development Manager for the Fuchs brand will establish a go-to-market strategy for the region and will also be expected to take a leading role in helping to define the future new product development roadmap, with a focus on Southeast Asia and key markets of Malaysia, Japan, South Koreas, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam and Thailand.

What you’ll do

  • Identify and target key regions and markets for sales growth.
  • Develop channels to market. This will usually be via 3rd party distribution but direct sales where appropriate.
  • Strategically identify dealers, applying all aspects of dealer management to grow a successful distribution partnership.
  • Work with the Fuchs Managing Director and Sales Director to develop a sales forecast for the region, create a sales pipeline and forecast sales on a bi-weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Provide technical expertise, insights, application expertise, equipment recommendations and advice on applications to customers and distribution partners.
  • Travel to site, make suggestions and recommendations based on the data provided. Proactively sell whether directly or in support of a distribution partner.
  • Work with MP to develop financing solutions.
  • Provide quotations as appropriate.
  • Provide training to dealer and customers as required.
  • Resolve customer complaints and challenges, successfully engaging internal team members to support the sales and after sales process.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with customers and dealer networks.
  • Monitor competitor activity and pricing.
  • Assist in collecting receivables when needed.


What you’ll bring

  • Degree qualified – preferably an engineering or technical discipline to support the provision of technical advice to customers and distribution partners.
  • Significant record of success in both Direct Sales and 3rd party Distribution establishment and management, preferably across a selection of the target markets identified above.
  • Experience of selling bespoke/customized products which require application expertise.
  • Proven ability to understand market requirements and competitor landscape.
  • Track record of success in supporting New Product Development.
  • Significant experience in the region and preferably within the industry.
  • Comfort around leadership and customers.
  • A thorough knowledge of dealer network distribution and product line management.
