About Our Client

Our client, a leader in Oil & Gas services is currently looking for a new Business Development Manager to spearhead new business initiatives within Malaysia. Based in Malaysia, you will be the main point of contact for customers and channel partners, focused on converting leads into profitable sales that meet our growth goals.

Job Description

You will be reporting to the Sales Director and your primary responsibilities include:

  • Implement company strategic plans in key markets within Malaysia
  • Develop and execute sales, marketing, and value proposition strategies that drive revenue and profitability.
  • Identify new business opportunities by collaborating with internal teams, clients, and industry partners.
  • Grow the business by introducing new products and services or by nurturing relationships with new customers to boost revenue and profitability.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs and market trends, helping to inform sales strategies and product offerings.
  • Apply Value Selling to enhance the efficiency of sales and marketing efforts.
  • Negotiate and manage key contracts and service agreements with input from the broader leadership team.
  • Direct sales activities, including setting product mix, geographic sales targets, and customer service standards.


The Successful Applicant

The Successful Candidate Will Have The Following

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in Sales, Marketing, Business, or Engineering.
  • Additional certifications in project sales, project management, marketing, or business development are a plus.
  • Significant experience in Oil & Gas solution sales.
  • Experience working with international manufacturing companies is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with the retail fuel market and related technologies.
  • Understanding of forecourt equipment and its functionality.
  • Fluent in English; additional language skills are a plus.
