Business Solution Architect

If you are looking to excel and make a difference, take a closer look at us… Overview The Business Solutions Architect is responsible in providing support in two key areas:

• With a business focus, ensure that the solution meets with the business requirements
• With an enterprise focus, ensure that the enterprise requirements for reuse, compliance to standards, principles, traceability to enterprise reference models, and alignment with the target enterprise architecture vision
• This role reports to the Business Solution Manager. Other key responsibilities are as detailed below:

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Produce architectural designs, and review requirement specifications and interface specifications
• Utilize SOA framework to standardize and simplify integration
• Analyze changes & impact on existing systems of proposed solutions
• Decision on the Technical Approach to be used to address systems’ enhancements
• Proposal on enhancement of applications for better performance
• Provide expert advice for best solution to new products/initiatives and production problems
• Provide options/alternatives available to address Users Business Requirements and recommendation on software solution
• Facilitate decisions on the Technical Approach to be used to address systems’ enhancements
• Responsible for business case and architecture papers
• Act as SPOC for GITA during RFI and RFP process

Jobholder Requirements: Education/Qualification

• Diploma/Degree

Experience

• At least 10 years’ experience in IT Business Applications related functions – development & support

Special Skills

• Banking domain knowledge i.e. Internet/mobile banking, channel integration
