Job Description

Primarily responsible for providing efficient administrative and sales support to the managements. Responsible for providing efficient administration support to Logistics sales and carrying out indoor sales activities such as tele sales, CRM (client relationship Management) and maintaining close follow-up on quotation. Work closely with the sales team in implementing sales strategies and to increase GAC Logistics presence within the Malaysia Market.

Job Description


  • Quotation Strike Rates & Responses Time

i) Oversee the preparation and submission of accurate and timely quotations

ii) Monitor and analyze quotation strike rates to identify trends and areas for improvement

iii) Ensure quotations are delivered to customers within the agreed response time

Success Metrics:

I) CIF terms- Quotation to be responded within 24 hours

II) DDP/ DDU terms to APAC – Quotation to be responded within 24 hours

III) DDP/DDU terms to Europe /US Quotation to be responded within 48 hours

IV) Tender/RFQ to be responded according to the submission dateline.

quotation strike rate with target of 30% with margin of min 15%.


  • Procurement and Supplier Management

i) Oversee the procurement process, including rates sourcing, negotiating and confirmation of services

ii) Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, reliability and cost effectiveness

iii) Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures

Success Metrics:

Cost savings achieved through procurement negotiations


  • Sales Support

i) Coordinate with outdoor sales teams to provide them with necessary quotations, documentation and client information

ii) Support other GAC Malaysia branch offices by ensuring they have the tools and resources needed to meet their sales targets and preparation of quotes as needed

iii) Maintain a central repository sales material and ensure that all teams have access to the latest resources.

Success Metrics:

i) Increased efficiency in sales operations across branches

ii) Positive feedback from outdoor sales and branch managers

Timely and accurate support provided to sales teams


  • Coordination, exchange sales lead & trade lane development with global offices and agents

i) Liaise and coordinate with global offices/agents with regards to sales-related enquiries, development as well as shipment monitoring / coordination internally with customer service and operation.

ii) Generating, recording, monitoring and follow up sales lead received, and sales lead sent abroad and locally on monthly basis

iii) To ensure effectively follow up on sales leads and convert them into sales

iv) Build good relationship to develop opportunities between G2G & G2A by exchange sales lead and promote our services

v) Updating the selected countries follow by other countries' pricing on monthly and quarterly basis.

vi) Alert by providing briefing to the sales and business support team on the updated pricing


  • Carry out telesales to promote GAC services and follow up for business opportunity
  • To do minimum 40 sales call per month
  • Ad-Hoc Task Required

i) Carry out all other activities as assigned by Line Manager & the management and perform any ad-hoc tasks as when required by the management.

ii) Generating sales activities and others reports, analyzing and present to the management on weekly/monthly/yearly basis

Job Requirements


  • Minimum Advance Diploma / Degree Holder in Logistics & Management or similar field
  • Minimum 1-2 years relevant working experience in the freight forwarding industry
  • English & Bahasa Malaysia (Writing & Speak), Mandarin (Optional)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
