Job Responsibility
- Operate cash register and accurately process customer transactions, including cash, credit, and debit card payments.
- Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude, providing excellent customer service throughout the transaction process.
- Scan items accurately and efficiently, ensuring correct pricing and quantities are entered into the system.
- Handle cash and maintain accurate cash drawer balances, reconciling any discrepancies at the end of each shift.
- Provide information to customers about products, promotions, and store policies, addressing any inquiries or concerns effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring adequate supplies are stocked and the workspace is tidy.
- Assist with bagging groceries or merchandise for customers, ensuring items are handled with care.
- Process returns and exchanges according to company policy, verifying the validity of the return and issuing appropriate refunds or store credit.
- Answer phone calls and take customer orders, providing accurate information and ensuring timely order fulfillment.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, such as stocking shelves and rotating products to ensure freshness.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines and loss prevention measures.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth store operations and provide support as needed.
- Minimum Secondary/SPM/'O' Level certification required.
- Entry-level position; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Proficiency in Mandarin and English, both written and spoken, is essential for effective communication with customers and colleagues.
- Proven ability to provide excellent customer service, addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
- Demonstrated skills in cash handling, including accurate transaction processing, balancing cash drawers, and preventing discrepancies.
- Willingness to work onsite at the branch's location
- Ability to work full-time and adhere to the company's scheduling requirements.
