CDD Analyst

The CDD Analyst will be responsible for managing the customer due diligence process, ensuring accurate screenings, risk assessments, and compliance with regulatory standards. This role involves collaborating with internal stakeholders, managing risk, and contributing to process improvements to maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with all relevant policies.

Description

• CDD Process Management: Oversee and operate the CDD process, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of services in accordance with SLAs; prioritise workload and monitor assigned queues within the CDD tool.
• Screening & Monitoring: Conduct on-demand CDD screenings, monitor continuous screening reports for new matches, and initiate follow-up reviews based on counterparty risk ratings.
• Risk Assessment & Recommendations: Review potential matches to validate risk, propose next steps, and escalate when necessary, ensuring appropriate actions based on precedents and documented rationale.
• Data Management & Compliance: Securely store and maintain counterparty information in compliance with data privacy regulations and CDD policies; ensure data integrity across systems.
• Subject Matter Expertise: Provide guidance to requestors on applying the correct level of rigor in CDD and High-Risk Agent Group Control Process (HRAGCP) evaluations, and participate in periodic process reviews with stakeholders.
• Comply with all Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental policies, participate in training and audits, and contribute to the automation of manual processes while supporting segments in managing customer and supplier risks.
  
  

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field, or professional certification such as ACAMS or ICA.
• At least 3 years of experience in CDD, Pre-Qualification, AML, Compliance, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong stakeholder relationship management abilities with a proactive, dynamic approach.
