Your Responsibilities
- Perform Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and thermal simulations in the fields of vehicle interior & exterior, lighting systems, under hood thermal management, HVAC systems.
- Use of CFD tools (Star CCM+, ANSYS Fluent, OpenFOAM) to solve physics-based problems such as thermal comfort, hydraulics, thermal runaway, aerodynamics and other related phenomena.
- Conduct validation and verification of simulation results and ensure consistency with experimental data.
- Develop and deliver detailed simulation analyses and project deliverables.
- Ensure all engineering tasks comply with company and customer quality standards and processes.
- Manage assigned engineering deliverables in line with project timelines, quality targets, and budget constraints.
- Improve existing analytical methods by developing best practices, automating workflows, and streamlining processes.
- Prepare documentation, reports, and technical presentations for internal teams and clients.
- Work independently while coordinating effectively with other engineering disciplines and project managers.
- Collaborate closely with European offices to develop and enhance solutions, products, and offerings, and contribute to issue identification and resolution.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Aerospace, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and thermodynamics.
- Hands-on experience with CFD tools such as ANSYS Fluent, Star CCM+, and/or OpenFOAM.
- Experience with CAD/modeling tools (e.g., CATIA) or meshing/preprocessing tools (e.g., ANSA) is a plus.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a remote, multicultural environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; German is an advantage. Additional Attributes:
