Job Overview

Your primary responsibility is to review and process insurance claims submitted by policyholders or beneficiaries. Your role is crucial in ensuring that claims are evaluated fairly and accurately, and that policyholders receive the benefits they are entitled to under their insurance policies in a timely manner. As we have moved into a paperless work culture, you will need the required skills to undertake your task online, from registering these complex cases, preparing, assessing and communicating the outcome of your assessments to the relevant stakeholders, as well as online filing and storing of information and documents received from external parties.

Specific Tasks

· Claim Processing: Review compensation claims submitted by employees, verify the accuracy and completeness of the information provided in the claims, and analyse documentation and evidence related to the claim to assess its validity.

· Documentation: Responsible for gathering and verifying all necessary documentation to support the claim. This may involve contacting claimants, witnesses, medical professionals, or other relevant parties to gather information.

· Investigation: In cases where there are questions about the legitimacy of a claim or when additional information is needed, you may be required to conduct investigations. This can include interviews, or collaboration with investigators.

· Communication: Claim examiners communicate with policyholders, claimants, insurers and other stakeholders to explain the claims process, request additional information, and provide updates on the status of claims.

Requirements:-

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Actuarial Science/Business/Insurance/Finance) or equivalent work experience.
• Prior experience in Insurance field would be an added advantage but fresh graduates who are willing to learn are welcome to apply
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English
• High level of integrity and professionalism
• Highly analytical with strong attention to detail
• Strong ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, authorities and external parties
• Able to work independently with minimum guidance after completion of internal training
• Malaysian Citizen

Salary will commensurate with experience and qualifications.
