JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining the company's multi-cloud infrastructure. This position requires a deep understanding of cloud computing, expertise in integrating disparate cloud platforms and the ability to ensure seamless interoperability and scalability across the organization's cloud environments

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Multi-Cloud Solution Design and Architecture - Evaluate the company's cloud requirements, including performance, cost, security, and compliance needs, to determine the optimal multi-cloud strategy. - Design and architect the overall multi-cloud infrastructure, selecting the appropriate cloud platforms, services, and technologies to meet the organization's needs. - Ensure the cloud architecture is scalable, resilient, and adaptable to accommodate future growth and changes in the business. - Develop reference architectures, design patterns, and best practices for building and deploying cloud-native applications across multiple cloud platforms. Cloud Platform Integration and Interoperability - Establish robust integration mechanisms between the company's various cloud platforms, enabling seamless data exchange, application portability, and unified management. - Implement cross-cloud identity and access management (IAM) solutions, ensuring secure and consistent user access across the multi-cloud environment. - Develop and maintain a comprehensive cloud monitoring and observability framework, providing visibility into the performance, cost, and health of the multi-cloud infrastructure. - Ensure compliance with industry regulations and organizational policies by enforcing consistent security controls and governance practices across the multi-cloud environment. Multi-Cloud Operations and Optimization - Oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the multi-cloud infrastructure, including provisioning, configuration, and incident response. - Continuously monitor and analyze cloud resource utilization, performance, and cost, and recommend optimization strategies to improve efficiency and reduce expenditure. - Implement and manage automated cloud management and orchestration tools to streamline the provisioning, scaling, and optimization of cloud resources. - Collaborate with the Cloud Automation Engineer to develop and maintain robust cloud automation workflows that span multiple cloud platforms. Alignment and Collaboration - Serve as the primary liaison between the cloud team and other cross-functional departments, such as IT, application development, and business stakeholders - Ensure the cloud team's activities and deliverables are closely aligned with the company's overall business objectives and IT strategy - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their cloud-related requirements, challenges, and priorities - Communicate the team's progress, achievements, and challenges to executive leadership

JOB REQUIREMENTS

- Extensive experience (3+ years) in cloud architecture, engineering, and operations - Deep understanding of cloud platforms, services, and technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Alibaba) - Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills - Ability to align technical solutions with business objectives and strategic initiatives - Professional certifications from any recognized CSP’s, Microsoft, Linux, RDBMS etc
