About The Role

You’ll be part of a dynamic team developing container orchestration systems, DevOps toolchains, and microservices frameworks that power Lenovo’s cloud-native infrastructure. If you’re passionate about backend development and Kubernetes, this is your opportunity to make a global impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Platform Development - Design, develop, and maintain components of Lenovo’s cloud-native platform including container runtimes, CI/CD pipelines, and Kubernetes extensions.
- Build scalable microservices frameworks and backend services for distributed systems.
- Collaboration Integration - Work closely with architects and technical leads to implement reusable and modular platform components.
- Participate in DevOps automation, performance tuning, and system testing.
- Reliability Observability - Enhance platform stability, observability, and service reliability through proactive development and monitoring.
- Contribute to incident response and root cause analysis for production systems.
- Agile Development - Follow agile methodologies and maintain high standards of code quality, documentation, and testing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in backend or platform development.
- Proficient in Java and Go, with hands-on experience in Spring or Spring Cloud.
- Solid understanding of Kubernetes, Helm, and ecosystem tools like Prometheus, Istio, etc.
- Experience with Docker, Git, and CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI or Jenkins.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, Scrum methodologies, and microservices architecture.
- Experience with PaaS platforms and open-source contributions is a strong plus.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a global, cross-functional team.
