CNC Machinist

Job Summary

Job Responsibilities

• Manufactures or machines products as per specification by operation of computer-controlled equipment or more mechanically based machines
• Produce products as per production schedule.
• Program, setup and operates Computer Numerical Control machine.
• Prepare process sheet, tooling selection and cutting parameter for precision machining of metal and engineering plastic
• Maintain machine, tooling, jig and fixtures
• Maintain and sustain good housekeeping at all time (5S) in the respective area
• Measure and inspect quality of product by using quality inspection and measuring equipment
• Implement cost-saving exercise
  
  

Job Requirements

• Diploma / Skills Certificate / Vocational Certificate in Machining, Mechanical, Manufacturing or a related field
• At least 1 year of experience in CNC machining
• Experience in precision machining, especially in the semiconductor industry, is an advantage
• Possess a positive work attitude, committed, and detail-oriented
• Prioritize safety, maintain cleanliness (5S), and continuously strive to improve productivity
• Strong understanding of CNC machines and machining processes.
• Hands-on attitude with the ability to learn quickly and work independently.
