Job Description

Job Summary: The Commercial Cards Product Lead will play a pivotal role in overseeing the complete lifecycle of the client's commercial card products, from initial concept to market launch and beyond. This position demands a strategic visionary with robust project management capabilities, comprehensive knowledge of commercial card products, and exceptional collaboration skills to drive decisions effectively with various departments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the product strategy, development, and implementation, ensuring the successful introduction and growth of client’s commercial card portfolio. This role requires a balance of innovative thinking and practical execution to meet the dynamic needs of client and achieve business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Define the strategic vision and roadmap for the bank’s commercial card product line in alignment with business objectives.
  • Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation to launch and ongoing management.
  • Develop and maintain the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
  • Define product features, specifications, and enhancements based on customer feedback and market demands.
  • Manage the product budget, including forecasting, pricing, and cost management.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, sales teams, and external partners.
  • Keep up to date with industry regulations and standards to guide and ensure compliance.
  • Monitor product performance in the market, making data-driven decisions to optimize the product offering and drive growth, brand awareness and profitability.
  • Stay informed about industry developments, emerging technologies, and best practices in commercial card products to enhance product roadmap.
  • Provide regular updates to senior leadership on product performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in product strategy and management, preferably in the commercial cards.
  • Strong understanding of commercial card products, market dynamics, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and managing commercial card products or similar financial products.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage complex projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in product management tools and software
