The purpose of this role is to support the relevant function in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements related to Risk and Governance. This involves coordinating and managing various aspects of compliance, working closely with internal stakeholders such as Group, Divisional and Country Compliance teams.

The purpose of this role is to support the relevant function in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements related to Risk and Governance. This involves coordinating and managing various aspects of compliance, working closely with internal stakeholders such as Group, Divisional and Country Compliance teams.
Your New Role:
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for QBE Asia
- Manage compliance processes, event escalation, and process improvement across QBE Asia.
- Develop and deliver compliance and regulatory communications, training, and education to stakeholders.
- Coordinate completion of annual functional Risk and Control Self-Assessment for Asia Compliance
- Manage data breaches, and Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA) projects.
- Drive continuous improvement in Risk and Control processes within the function.
- Support tracking of monthly Compliance training reporting.
- Co-ordinate and Conduct ad hoc audits with local compliance teams.
- Provide support on regulatory activities, such as compliance projects and new initiatives at Asia level.
- Identify knowledge gaps and coach team members in compliance activities including sanctions, privacy, outsourcing etc.
- Act as Business Continuity (BC) functional representative, managing BC plan and assessments.
- Experience in Risk & Control activities in a regulated environment.
- Tertiary Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Fluent in English.
- Ability to see the big picture while having a keen detail orientation.
- Problem-solving abilities and able to work autonomously.
- Experience working in a multinational environment and a matrix organisation. with multiple reporting lines.
