The Compliance Testing team ensures that every game meets the technical, policy, and platform standards required for a high-quality player experience on PlayStation and PC. Working closely with developers, QA teams, and publishing partners, we focus on identifying and resolving potential issues early in the development cycle. Our team combines deep platform knowledge with a passion for quality to support smooth, timely game releases that align with PlayStation’s commitment to excellence.



Compliance Test Lead

As a Compliance Test Lead, you will coordinate compliance efforts across multiple titles. You will define test strategies, manage daily team tasks, and drive test excellence while acting as the main liaison with studio partners.



Responsibilities

  • Lead all compliance testing efforts across assigned projects
  • Oversee workload distribution, progress reporting, and strategy development
  • Maintain defect tracking accuracy and ensure PlayStation QA process adherence
  • Develop and mentor compliance staff
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives and automation research
  • Collaborates as part of a global lead team to design and execute bespoke compliance testing strategies, ensuring consistency and best practices across regions.
  • Evaluate priority for compliance test focus
  • Daily review and reporting on compliance test status or progress



Requirements

  • Proven leadership in QA or compliance testing
  • Excellent stakeholder communication and coordination skills
  • Hands-on knowledge of TRC and other platform requirements
  • Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, and test management tools
  • Strong passion for games
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work in both an individual and team environment
  • Flexible schedule



Bonus Advantages

  • At least 3-5+ years of experience in QA or a related field
  • ISQTB Foundation Level (or Higher) preferred
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in any related field
  • Proficient in using Ms. Office apps
  • Proficiency in Japanese is a strong advantage
