Job Description

Distributor and Importer Network Expansion:

  • Identify, recruit, and develop new distributors and importers to expand market reach.
  • Negotiate distribution agreements, pricing structures, and sales targets with new and existing partners.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with distributors and importers to monitor performance and identify areas for growth.


Account Management And Relationship Building

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all distributor and importer accounts in the country.
  • Build strong relationships with distributors, importers, and key accounts to ensure long-term partnerships.
  • Provide regular support to partners, including training, promotional planning, and product updates.


Sales Performance And Reporting

  • Set and monitor sales targets for the country to ensure company objectives are met or exceeded.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales activities, market conditions, customer feedback, and competitor activities.
  • Use data and insights to adjust strategies as needed to maximize performance.


Sales Strategy And Market Development

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive country sales strategy that aligns with the company's global objectives.
  • Identify market opportunities, customer needs, and growth potential for frozen seafood products.
  • Analyze local market trends, competitors, and pricing strategies to maintain a competitive edge.


The Successful Applicant

  • MBA or Bachelor's degree in Business, Food Science, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in sales management, specifically in frozen food or seafood sales.
  • Proven track record of growing sales through distributor and importer channels.
  • Experience working in established MNCs and cross culutral.
  • Strong understanding of the local import and export industry, including product knowledge, market dynamics, and sales cycles.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Driven, energetic and passionate for the industry.
  • Willingness to travel extensively to meet with distributors, importers, and customers.
