Customer Return Specialist - Japanese Speaking

This role has been designed as ‘Hybrid’ with an expectation that you will work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office

Job Description:


  • Management and coordination of leasing asset returns which includes
    • Issue asset lists and shipment forms to our customers to initiate the return of equipment.
    • Keeping track of outstanding shipment confirmations and follow up till closure.
    • In cases where return equipment is missing or damaged, negotiate settlements with the customers.
  • Collaboration with our 3rd party logistics vendors on
    • Monitoring the status of returns
    • Address any late shipments promptly and provide clear instructions to cancel shipments when necessary.
  • Assist returns reconciliation specialist with surplus queries if necessary.
  • Issue termination instructions to the asset termination specialists at the asset level and communicate the completion of returns to our customers.
  • Coordination with various internal stakeholders on return asset reconciliation

Education and Experience Required:

  • Typically, a bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of related experience or a master's degree and up to two years of experience and fluent in Japanese language
