Role Overview

Join Maxis as a Data Analyst Intern and contribute to impactful data management projects. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to develop a Browsing Category Database, a reference table associating browsing domains with categories using an N-1 relationship. Through this role, you will strengthen your technical expertise in SQL, Python, and database management while gaining hands-on experience in creating robust data structures that support business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Database Development: Design and create a Browsing Category Database, ensuring accurate associations between browsing domains and their respective categories using an N-1 relationship structure.
• Data Analysis and Structuring: Analyze existing datasets and ensure the consistency and integrity of the reference table for efficient use in analytics and reporting.
• SQL Implementation: Use SQL to query and manage the database, optimizing for performance and accuracy.
• Python Scripting: Write Python scripts to automate processes, manage data transformations, and maintain database quality.
• Collaboration and Reporting: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions that align with business objectives, prepare detailed documentation and reports for stakeholders, ensuring the database is easy to understand and scalable.
  
  

Preferred Skills/Qualifications

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL for database management and queries, experience with Python for data analysis and scripting tasks, familiarity with database management principles, including designing efficient and scalable data structures.
• Problem-Solving Abilities: Analytical mindset to address data challenges and propose effective solutions.
• Strong communication skills to present findings and collaborate with stakeholders.
