Data Center Infrastructure Trainer

About Us: Gama Malaysia is the Southeast Asian branch of Gama Group, a leading data center service provider from China. We specialize in comprehensive data center solutions, covering infrastructure, construction, operations, and maintenance. As we grow, we are seeking an experienced trainer to join our team and lead training programs that will empower the next generation of data center professionals in Malaysia.

Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver training modules focused on data center infrastructure, covering essential topics like electrical systems, cooling systems, control systems, and more.
• Provide hands-on instruction in data center operations, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Assess student progress through structured evaluations and offer guidance to ensure the mastery of critical skills.
• Collaborate with industry professionals to continuously enhance and update the training curriculum.
• Mentor and prepare students for successful careers within the data center industry.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; preference for candidates with university-level lecturing experience in M&E disciplines.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data center industry infrastructure management and operations.
• Proven teaching experience, ideally at a university level or in a professional training capacity.
• Practical experience with essential data center equipment, including UPS, HVAC systems, diesel generators, and BMS.
• Strong knowledge of data center operational standards and industry best practices.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Qualification:

• Experience in a data center training role.
• Professional certifications in data center management or related fields.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Malay.
