Key Responsibilities

Design and implement mechanical systems for data centers, including HVAC, cooling systems, fire suppression, and plumbing.

Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.

Perform regular maintenance and inspections on mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical system issues to minimize downtime and maintain seamless data center operations.

Maintain detailed records of mechanical system configurations, maintenance schedules, and compliance with safety regulations.

Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure all mechanical work meets project specifications and quality standards.

Monitor and optimize the performance of cooling and ventilation systems to ensure energy efficiency and adherence to sustainability goals.

Participate in emergency response efforts, providing technical support to resolve mechanical system failures quickly and effectively.

Stay updated on the latest technologies and best practices in mechanical engineering for data centers through continuous learning and professional development.

Provide input on mechanical system designs during project planning and contribute to the preparation of technical documentation and reports.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field is required. field. OR additional four (4) years of related experience. OR additional four (4) years of related experience.

10+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably within a data center or critical environment.

3+ years of senior level construction management or design management experience.

Basic understanding of HVAC systems, mechanical design principles, and relevant software tools (e.g., AutoCAD).

Strong problem-solving abilities to identify issues and propose effective solutions.

Good verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and vendors.

Ability to work well within a team environment while also being capable of taking initiative when necessary.

Strong knowledge of industry standards such as ASHRAE, ISO, and NFPA related to mechanical systems.

Experience with system performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and energy efficiency optimization.

Proficiency in mechanical design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, or other relevant software.

Fluent in Thai, Malay (depending upon location) and English both written and verbal (Minimum 750 TOEIC score).
