We are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Engineer to join our dynamic team in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in data architecture, ETL processes, and big data technologies to support our data-driven initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and delivery.
• Build and optimize data models in Snowflake for analytics and reporting.
• Write efficient and complex SQL queries for ETL/ELT processes.
• Manage version control and collaboration using GitHub (branching, code reviews).
• Implement identity and access management using Keystone.
• Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with governance standards.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows to maintain reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements.
• Document processes, data flows, and best practices for future scalability.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering or related roles.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Snowflake (data modeling, optimization).
• Hands-on experience with GitHub for code management and CI/CD.
• Familiarity with Keystone for identity and access management.
• Solid understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data warehousing concepts.
• Knowledge of data security, governance, and compliance practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
