Role Overview
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Science Analyst with expert-level Power BI skills and a strong foundation in data analysis, documentation, and communication. This role requires the ability to convert business challenges into scalable data solutions, deliver visually compelling dashboards, and partner closely with cross-functional teams to influence decision-making across multiple markets.
You’ll be instrumental in bridging data, business requirements, and user experiences, while supporting model development and AI-driven features within our CRM ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Analysis & Insights
- Apply statistical techniques and data mining methods to large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and correlations.
- Clean, transform, and validate data for analysis and reporting, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs, business rules, and success metrics for various use cases (e.g., churn, campaign performance).
- Design and execute data validation and quality control checks across multiple pipelines.
Power BI & Visualization (Expert Level)
- Build visually intuitive, interactive, and performance-optimized Power BI dashboards to support business and client needs.
- Ensure visualizations are easily understood by non-technical users across markets and functions.
- Leverage advanced features like DAX, row-level security, bookmarks, drill-through, and paginated reports to meet business needs.
- Work closely with engineering and campaign teams to embed insights into real-time reporting solutions.
Documentation & Communication
- Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Specifications (FSDs), use cases, and process flow diagrams.
- Translate complex requirements into technical tasks in collaboration with the development team.
- Document analysis outcomes and present clear narratives for internal stakeholders and client partners.
Solutioning & Delivery
- Support the full data science lifecycle: from defining the business problem, data collection, exploration, modeling, validation, and solution delivery.
- Contribute to proof-of-concepts involving Generative AI, NLP, personalization, or best-next-action models (experience is a plus, not mandatory).
- Engage in agile ceremonies and maintain documentation and collaboration via Jira and Confluence.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have:
- 4+ years of hands-on experience building advanced Power BI dashboards.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and handling large relational datasets.
- Demonstrated experience writing BRDs, FSDs, process flows, and structured documentation.
- Strong analytical skills with knowledge of statistical techniques and data mining methods.
- Ability to independently manage tasks while working cross-functionally with tech, campaign, and business teams.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities with a proactive and team-oriented approach.
Preferred / Nice to Have:
- Working knowledge of Python or R for analysis and modeling.
- Familiarity with Azure, Databricks, and cloud-based data tools.
- Experience in AI/ML applications such as NLP, personalization, time-series, or image recognition is a plus.
- Exposure to automated testing tools (e.g., Cucumber) and CI/CD integration for analytics solutions.
