Job Responsibility

  • Plan and implement engaging Mandarin-based activities that promote children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
  • Create a stimulating and supportive classroom environment where children feel safe, respected, and encouraged to explore and learn through play in Mandarin.
  • Deliver Mandarin lessons, songs, and stories to enhance children's Mandarin language acquisition and cultural understanding.
  • Observe and assess each child's progress and development, providing individualized attention and support to meet their specific needs in a daycare setting.
  • Maintain open and effective communication with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns, fostering a collaborative partnership.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the daycare, adhering to strict safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to plan and implement daycare-wide events and activities that promote a sense of community and celebrate Mandarin culture.
  • Utilize effective classroom management techniques to create a positive and productive learning environment, addressing behavioral issues with patience and understanding.
  • Prepare teaching materials and resources to support Mandarin language instruction and activities, ensuring they are  aligned with the curriculum.
  • Integrate Mandarin language and culture into all aspects of the daycare program, creating a rich and immersive learning experience for the children.

Job Requirements

  • Possess a Diploma in Early Childhood Education or a related field, making the candidate suitable for an entry-level position.
  • Demonstrate fluency in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia to effectively communicate with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Exhibit strong classroom management skills to create a positive and engaging learning environment for young children.
  • Apply creative teaching methods to stimulate children's learning and development in a daycare setting.
  • Provide excellent childcare, ensuring the safety, well-being, and nurturing of each child under their care.
  • Utilize their teaching skills to deliver  lessons and activities in Mandarin, fostering language acquisition and cultural understanding.
  • Maintain a high level of Mandarin fluency to facilitate immersive language learning experiences for the children.
