Our client is a prominent Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) serving major car manufacturers and assemblers in Malaysia. In addition to its core automotive business, the Group also has interests in the oil palm plantation sector. They are currently seeking a highly skilled Development QA Senior Executive to join their team.

They are currently seeking a highly skilled Development QA Senior Executive to join their team.
Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate with stakeholders to develop and implement quality control plans and systems, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
- Conduct tests throughout the development lifecycle to detect defects, validate functionality, and confirm that products meet established quality requirements.
- Analyze issues and identify root causes, recommending effective solutions to improve product quality and streamline development processes.
- Collect and evaluate data to identify trends, monitor quality metrics, and prepare detailed reports to support informed decision-making.
- Drive process improvement initiatives by pinpointing areas for optimization and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and overall quality.
- Ensure adherence to standards and regulations, including conducting audits to verify compliance where necessary.
- Monitor post-launch product performance, gather feedback, and lead continuous improvement efforts.
- Inspect and test products at various production stages to confirm compliance with quality standards.
- Identify and troubleshoot quality issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve them promptly.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of quality audits, product inspections, and related findings.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering , Manufacturing , Industrial Engineering , or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of automotive industry quality management systems (IATF 16949, ISO 9001) and proficiency in core quality tools such as APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA, and FMEA .
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GDT) is an advantage.
- Familiarity with advanced measuring equipment, including contact devices (CMM) and non-contact devices (2D/laser scope, profile projector) , is an advantage.
- Knowledge of7 QC tools , DMAIC methodology , and problem-solving techniques (8D concept) is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and ask insightful questions about projects and processes.
- Strong team player with proven ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Proficiency in Mandarin (for communication with clients and suppliers in China) is an advantage.
