Your Role And Responsibilities

As a Digital Sales Specialist you'll become a trusted go-to expert. You'll collaborate with colleagues across the Sales team – advising and supporting on client engagements throughout the critically important early phases of the sales cycle, and helping to lead prospects to our award winning cloud solutions. We're committed to success. In this role, your achievements will drive your career, team, and clients to thrive. A typical day may involve Deal Closure Prediction: Predicting deal closures and effectively communicating forecasts. Upsell and Cross-sell Support: Supporting colleagues in identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities. Campaign Activation: Activating new business campaigns in collaboration with IBM leadership. Use-Case & Proof of Concept Design: Collaborating to design use-cases and proofs of concept. Value Proposition Presentation: Presenting compelling value propositions to clients.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

  • Consultative Tech Sales Success: Proven experience in consultative tech sales.
  • Digital Sales Proficiency: Proficient with digital sales tools.
  • Effective Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Influential Analytics: Strong analytical skills to influence business decisions.

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

  • Storage market knowledge for trusted client advice and reputation growth (training on IBM's Storage offerings is provided).
