What you will do:
As a consultative and solution driven, Direct Sales Representative, you will focus on installation sales into the marine and offshore markets for our full range of Solutions, including production systems, fire protection and detection systems, HVAC systems & emergency communications systems, by creating and sustaining relationships with new and existing customers across South East Asia (SEA). You will lead the sales drive, manage the complete sales cycle and own key client and internal relationships to deliver the revenues to meet the business plan of our Singapore and Malaysia M&O business line. Within the role you will work closely with the Branch Manager / Head of Sales to develop and implement the agreed strategy for Business development and the promotion of JCI M&O solutions.
How you will do it:
- Target and develop key End User relationships across the SEA region. Installation Sale. New build project. Marine & Offshore, knowledge of Fire background (Willsave).
- Identify, lead and coordinate JCI efforts to obtain local Authority and End User product / solution approvals
- Identify the best existing accounts to target for growth as well as identifying and converting new account opportunities.
- Conduct domestic (and overseas) sales visit s in the pursuit and development of strategic sales
- Own the complete sales process from opportunity identification to sales closure, coordinating inputs from other business stakeholders.
- Contribute to our business unit growth rooms, to maximise opportunity creation and cross sell opportunities for the company’s complete product portfolio.
- Monitor competitor activities and new developments
- Manage, leads and drive sales performance using salesforce
What we look for:
- Diploma/Bachelor Degree, preferably in Engineering discipline
- Experience and proven track record of technical solutions sales within Oil, Gas, Marine and/or Energy Industries.
- Existing Network of relationships with major Oil, Gas & Marine customers, both operators and contractors.
- Ability to function autonomously, whilst also being a proactive team player
- Ability to communicate both internally and externally at high levels.
- Customer focused orientation with strong influencing and negotiation skills to gain wide acceptance.
- Systematic and Logical with an ability to create winning plans and bring teams together for mutual success
- Proven track record of achieving results.
