  • Being the overall Program and Change Manager for the Health business, ensuring effective communication, sponsorship and awareness.
  • Act as a connector and liaison between various departments and the project sponsor to foster collaboration and ensure alignment with strategic goals related to the Health business.
  • Build market intelligence and insight on competitor performance, new products and stay ahead of the industry through differentiated product/propositions.
  • Work closely with sales and distribution team to understand performance drivers, gaps and mobilize actions to address these gaps.


Develop and Implement Sales Enablement Strategies

  • Create and execute sales enablement plans that align with Health North Star strategies.


Training and Development

  • Design and ensure Agency Learning & Development Team / Partnership Distribution Training & Development Team deliver training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the distribution, focusing on product knowledge, sales techniques, and industry trends.


Sales Tools Management

  • Create, implement and manage sales tools and technologies to streamline the health sales process and improve efficiency.


Performance Management

  • Monitor, evaluate and support the distributions on the health sales performance against targets. Recognize and reward high-performing individuals to motivate them focus on health sales.


Strategic Planning, Implementation And Transformational Support

  • Support the translation of Prudential’s overarching health strategy into specific execution plans (roadmaps, milestones, deliverables)
  • Support and organize the execution of specific, complex and critical health projects between LBUs and Group Health


Stakeholder Engagement And Resource Management

  • Manage finance and budgeting of health initiatives for business case governance and in the yearly and three-year business plan, including funds drawdown both at the Group center and LBU level.
  • Communicate execution plans and target operating model with key stakeholders in the organization and with Prudential’s other strategic pillars/enablers (customer, distribution, finance, product development, operations etc.) and agree on interdependencies and shared outcomes.
  • Coordinates internal (Group center and LBUs) and external resources to ensure that projects adhere to scope, schedule and budget; identify risks and flags impediments, and escalates to appropriate levels where needed.
  • Support building out of a new target operating model that redefines the way that Group and LBUs work together to deliver on health initiatives.
  • Work with Group center and LBUs to execute vendor partnership agreements and conduct the required commercial due diligence.
  • Partner with internal and external technology teams to support the design and delivery of a strategic technology roadmap aimed at building the required digital health capabilities.


Performance Monitoring And Reporting

  • Put in place a framework to monitor progress against initiative targets and outcomes and propose action plans to improve organization results if deemed necessary.


Qualifications

  • Preferred degree in Actuary, Economics, Health or other numerate discipline, Program management & Strategic planning or Master’s degree/MBA.
  • Over 8 years relevant experience in insurance and preferably for Health.


Knowledge / Experience

  • Demonstrated good sense of business acumen and/or logical thought process in problem solving.
  • Strong financial disciplines including financial analysis and the ability to develop and translate financial policy into practical reality.
  • Able to be an active communicator and articulate concepts/thoughts effectively.
  • Strong organisation and program management skills.
  • Excellent presentation & collaboration skills.
  • Articulate and proficient in written and spoken English.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize and analyse large and complex sets of data/information.
  • Able to multi-task and manage changing priorities effectively.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
