Electrical Project Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer (Electrical & Instrumentation) to manage and coordinate project execution from design through site installation and commissioning. This role involves close collaboration with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in compliance with quality and technical standards. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on E&I experience in industrial, automation, or building services projects and be comfortable working on-site across Malaysia.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and communicate with all project stakeholders, including clients, consultants, main contractors, local authorities, sub-contractors, and suppliers, to ensure smooth project execution.
• Attend project meetings, site inspections, and equipment testing sessions with relevant stakeholders.
• Handle customer complaints, resolve non-conformance issues, and monitor corrective and preventive actions to maintain quality standards.
• Prepare and submit all required project documentation, including construction designs, material planning, project schedules, and variation orders (VOs).
• Work closely with draftsmen to produce accurate technical drawings and support design implementation.
• Oversee the preparation and submission of monthly progress claims and ensure quality workmanship throughout the project lifecycle.
  
  

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Knowledge and experience in site installation for Electrical & Instrumentation works will be an added advantage.
• Willing to travel and be based at project sites across Malaysia, including locations outside the Klang Valley, for extended periods.
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Results-driven, self-motivated, and able to work independently with a positive working attitude.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
