Engineer Information Technology - SAP BW Developer

Responsible for Supply Chain Solutions

Job Description

In your new role you will:

• Be accountable for BW development for BIA solutions by using standard Platforms and Technologies provided in the BIA Department, such as SAP BW, SLT, Lumira, SAP BO, and Tableau.
• Support in development, release change requests, and create support documentation and written procedures for routine and non-routine tasks.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues from other departments.
• Transfer of knowledge and awareness to those in closely related areas, such as colleagues and users.
• Support existing business intelligence solutions.
• Handle Incident / Change Request tickets using the IT ticketing System (BMC Remedy IT Service Management) and emails from users.
• Support on a global basis and work closely with team members in other regions.
• Work outside office hours on a case-by-case basis (e.g. quarterly preventive maintenance/ yearly plant maintenance).
  
  

Your Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology, or any equivalent course.
• Understanding of Data Warehousing / ETL techniques, SAP BW/BI, SAP HANA, SAP SLT, and Technical development within SAP BW.
• Good understanding of ABAP programming language.
• Experience in a data warehousing project is an added advantage.
• Familiar with Octane and JIRA (SCRUM), testing execution, and technical documentation.
• Strong in service support operations & experienced in ticketing tracking system.
• Good analytical trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills.
• Familiar with business processes in the Semiconductor manufacturing industry.
• Good communication skills and a proactive team player.
• The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
