Engineer Information Technology - Shipment Solutions

Job Description

In your new role you will:

• Act as Asia Pacific and Japan Regional IT Support for Logistics and Shipping Solution, such as Assist4 and local customs solutions within a framework of global IT guidelines, aiming to meet user requirements in a timely and efficient manner while ensuring service operations adhere to SLA standards.
• Support Shipment Solutions, such as Assist4, provides shipping capabilities such as triggering shipping documents, transferring shipping data to forwarders via B2B, packing screen, etc.
• Act as a project contributor to critical logistics projects in the region such as distribution center expansion and automation.
• Monitor and drive for resolution of operational incidents, provide user support on system issues and/or queries.
• Responsible for testing and user training to ensure requirements are deployed.
• Manage external vendors to ensure deliverables are met and up to the expected quality.
  
  

Your Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, Logistics Shipping or any equivalent subject.
• Minimum 1-3 years of working experience, fresh graduates with good grades are welcome to apply.
• Basic/advanced knowledge of system administration and troubleshooting, preferably in supply chain domain.
• Detail-oriented, with strong analytical skills, and a passion for providing effective solutions to system issues.
• Ability to work independently in international team setup and seek help when needed;
• Fluency in English is a must.
• Willingness to support 24x7 standby on-call support on a rotational basis.
