The Engineer, IT & IS Systems is responsible for analyzing business needs, implementation, integration, enhancement and support of business applications. This role involves ensuring that all the hardware, software and network components are running securely, smoothly and efficiently.

Experience in software development and system integration, implementing mid software and Enterprise solutions

It performs a series of mainly simple tasks.
Usually follows established guidelines or procedures to solve problems.
Work with a moderate level of guidance.

Education
This position primarily works in an office environment. It requires frequent sitting, standing and walking. Daily use of a computer and other computing and digital devices is required. May stand for extended periods when facilitating meetings or walking in the facilities. Some local or International (mainly USA) travel is necessary, so the ability to operate a motor vehicle and maintain a valid Driver’s license is required. The physical demands of the position described herein are essential functions of the job and employees must be able to successfully perform these tasks for extended periods. JOB DESCRIPTION
The Engineer, IT & IS Systems is responsible for analyzing business needs, implementation, integration, enhancement and support of business applications. This role involves ensuring that all the hardware, software and network components are running securely, smoothly and efficiently.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Supports, troubleshoots and maintains Corporate and Manufacturing systems (i.e. deploying enhancements/bug fixes).
- Collaborate with team members (project manager, software developers, systems and network engineer) in a fast-paced environment to meet project milestones.
- Systems validation and documentation meet predetermined guidelines for compliance.
- Adheres to applications security and control procedures in accordance with departmental, vendor standards and regulatory bodies.
- Provides routine application support and guidance to end users.
- Responsible for day-to-day tracking and follow-up on routine tasks.
- Create and maintain a knowledge base management system of system configurations, specifications and work procedures.
- Ensure the backup systems are reliable and functional to support business continuity.
- May require occasional after-hours work or on-call availability for system maintenance or troubleshooting.
- Performs other duties or projects as assigned.
Minimum & Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Hands-on knowledge and proficiency in systems integration experience.
- Ability to take direction, interface effectively, adapt to changes and contribute as a team member.
- Ability to manage, prioritize, and execute on multiple tasks.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
- Detail, results-oriented with a positive “can do” attitude and a sense of urgency.
- Ability to work well in cross-functional teams.
- Strong Analytical skills for troubleshooting hardware and software issues.

- At least 3-5 years of experience in IT Systems Engineering or a related role.
- Proficiency in Operating Systems (Windows 10 and 11).
- Good understanding of system architecture.
- Experience working with different types of systems, applications, and hardware
- Familiarity with healthcare medical devices manufacturing.

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or related field is required.
- Professional Certificate such as ITIL 4.
