We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Product Qualification & Quality Management Specialist to join our team. This individual will play a key role in ensuring the development and delivery of high-quality automotive products that meet both internal and external standards, as well as customer expectations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physics, electrical engineering, microelectronics, or a related technical field, with a passion for quality management and process optimization.

Job Description

In your new role you will:

  • Plan, execute, and report on product qualification processes in accordance with internal guidelines, external automotive standards, and specific customer requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to quality assurance protocols and process compliance throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize product quality and performance. Provide feedback and contribute to development processes by identifying areas for quality improvement.
  • Assess qualification results, oversee product release, and ensure accurate documentation and customer reporting related to product quality.
  • Represent the Quality Management team during product-related meetings with customers, ensuring that quality standards are met and communicated effectively.
  • Oversee and manage quality-related topics throughout the entire product lifecycle, ensuring consistent adherence to quality standards and protocols.
  • Drive the creation and maintenance of all quality-related documents, such as queries, qualification reports, and customer documentation.
  • Participate in and support problem-solving activities related to quality issues, working with senior team members and contributing to task forces and focus teams dedicated to quality improvements.

Your Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • A university degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, or a related technical or natural scientific field.
  • Preferably first experience in quality management or risk assessment related to product development.
  • Ideally, some insight into power semiconductor development, reliability mechanisms, and production processes.
  • Basic understanding of the automotive industry along with knowledge of quality management methods and industry norms (such as ISO standards).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with semiconductor physics, processes, and technologies is a plus.
  • Willingness to learn and develop expertise in quality management and the semiconductor industry.
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken); knowledge of German is a plus.
