Job description:

Job Summary

Responsible for the coordination and monitoring in compliance with specification and Project Quality Plan requirements and in all areas related to QAQC.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage a team of QC supervisors/inspectors to carry out QC inspection.

· Manage document controllers to control Management Systems documentation.

· Carry out internal and subcontractor/supplier quality audit.

· Report product quality issues, and work with engineers to carry out root cause analysis to determine causes of defects.

· To oversee the inspection and verification roles and quality related issues to ensure contract works comply with contract specification and drawings.

· To assist structural, M&E and architecture departments to submit to the related consultants the works method statement and materials samples.

· Liaise with sub-contractors/customers on site quality issues and carry out investigation to identify causes of complaints and seek for solution and correction of defective works.

· Verify that non-conformance are reworked and acceptable for release/closure.

· To ensure materials and workmanship compliance with specifications.

· To assist respective section/department managers on the submission of method statement and material samples.

· To attend site progress meetings with client, consultant and sub-contractors

· Assist the Quality Manager on ISO9001 implementation and Identify the need for new / revised procedures to support the implementation of the QMS.

· To ensure all filing and documentations are in compliance with the Department operation and ISO procedure.

· To comply and adhere to all matters pertaining to Quality, Safety & Health and Environment related to the job scope and work place as required by the Company.

· Any other duties that will be assigned from time to time by the Management.

Qualifications

· Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or other professional qualification.

Skills & Abilities

· Effective communication skills.

· Willing to work on shift.

· Good knowledge of construction activities.

· Good knowledge of Microsoft Office/Excel.

Expected Minimum Years of Experience

· 3 years of working experience.
