Engineer Test Engineering

We are seeking a motivated and innovative Test Engineer to join our Product & Test Engineering team, focusing on power discrete semiconductor products including silicon (Si) and wide bandgap technologies such as silicon carbide (SiC). In this role, you will develop test solutions that ensure high performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness for our next-generation automotive and industrial power products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams throughout the product development cycle, from concept to production ramp-up.

Job Description

In your new role you will:

• Develop new test hardware and methodologies for power discrete products with focus on Si and wide bandgap technologies
• Be responsible for the definition of new test concepts, Design forTest and Automated Test Equipment (ATE), as well as test specifications in cooperation with the product development team
• Analyze, debug and characterize new products with corresponding test hardware for new and existing test systems
• Identify and introduce test package improvements as well as conversions to realize test time reduction (TTR) and cost optimization
• Responsible for test knowledge transfer to production, test package buy-off and documentation for NPI and sustaining
  
  

Your Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical and Electronic Engineering or a comparable major
• 1-2 years of working experience in discrete test development within the semiconductor industry
• Expertise in power test platforms i.e. IP Test or similar is preferred as well as know-how in mixed-signal power test (ETS-88 or ETS-364)
• Skills in analog or mixed signal electronic circuits and test program coding and debugging
• Technical driving skills, result oriented behavior and strong communication skills within global teams are a must
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Fluent English skills (willingness to learn German is a plus)
