The digital consumer experience is at the heart of modern living, and home appliances are no exception. To meet our users’ needs, we are evolving to be more agile, respond faster to market demands, and identify opportunities to create exceptional mobile experiences for our connected appliances.

We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to lead one of our mobile app product teams in crafting the next-generation user experience for our connected appliances.

The team mission is to build the world's most loved personalised connected Taste experience by helping our users build confidence through educational, effective, sustainable experiences: "Making you a more confident and sustainable home cook".

What you'll do:

As an Engineering Manager, you’ll focus on leading and empowering your team to deliver exceptional results. You’ll work closely with your product and design peers in a cross-functional trio to create a collaborative, user-focused culture.

In detail, you will:

• Lead and empower your team: Recruit, coach, and mentor your engineers, helping them grow their skills and careers. Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where everyone thrives.
• Focus on outcomes: Work with your product and design peers to define success, measure progress, and guide your team toward impactful results that our users love.
• Build a culture of excellence: Drive data-informed decisions by focusing on usage, performance, and quality metrics. Bring and foster a mindset of continuous improvement, reliability, and delivery.
• Participate in the team’s journey: While your primary focus is people leadership, you’ll have opportunities to engage with the technical aspects and collaborate closely with your team.
• Deliver results: Guide your team to ship frequent, small, and reliable software releases, ensuring your work aligns with business goals and user needs.

• Experience leading cross-functional teams in product development, with a strong focus on mobile applications.
• Proven ability to guide, coach, and develop high-performing teams with diverse skill sets where you are not the expert.
• Experience in creating and nurturing a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
• A deep understanding of the software development lifecycle, with experience balancing technical and team leadership.
