ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGER

Job Responsible :

• To actively monitor the day to day implementationn and effectiveness of the ART environmental management system.
• To fully inform and advise the management system compliance audits Head of Construction and the Head of Project Management of the ART environmental performance at all times.
• To interface with the Client and Enforcing Authorities regarding environmental issues.
• Manage the independent internal audit of environmental management systems.
• Manage and monitor the closure of all identified corrective and preventive measures associated with non-conformance reports arising from management system audits.
• Manage the Senior Management and Client environmental inspection schedules and conduct site environmental inspections on a frequent basis.
• Devise and manage the implementation of environnmental awareness campaigns and promotions.
• Monitor and review the formation and activities of ART environmental monitoring committees and attend meetings as necessary, minimum attendance quarterly.
• Assist with incident investigations and manage the ART incident notification, investigation and reporting requirements.
• Undertake crisis management duties as required.
• Prepare information for and attend Client Monthly Progress meetings, Client environmental meetings, Monthly Project Director meetings and fortnightly Head of Construction Integration meetings.
• Manage the production of timely, consistent and accurate monthly environmental reports.
• Undertake ant other environmental related duties assigned by the Head of Construction.

Job Requirement :

• Environmental Manager shall have at least ten (10) yeras practical experience relevant to the works with CISEC/CESSWI and CePSWam certificate.
