$26.45 - $33.05 (min-mid)

- Responsible for operation and minor maintenance of mobile and stationary equipment associated with coal handling, grounds upkeep, and other bulk materials handling.
- Also operates equipment used in solid waste operations.
- Operates rubber tired and crawler dozers, front end loaders, motor graders, cranes, excavators, compactors, on/off road dump trucks, tractor-trailers (lowboy, etc.), and other equipment used in bulk material handling operations.
- Performs preventive maintenance and minor repairs to mobile equipment.
- Assist with spill containment, cleanup, and disposal.
- Maintains generating station roads and grounds using backhoes, motor graders, tractors, and associated equipment.
- Operates solid waste processing equipment.
- Operates excavators to provide proper ash pond maintenance.
- Acts as a 'lead person' in the absence of the Crew Supervisor when utility workers are performing assigned tasks, and may act as coal train unloading supervisor when required.
- Performs utility and other related duties as required.
- Operates, maintains, and troubleshoots coal conveyors, unloading systems, and associated equipment.
- High School Diploma/GED +5 years experience is required.
- Additional technical courses in mechanics/welding and background in mechanics, heavy mobile equipment operations/ maintenance, or conveyor/railway equipment operations is desirable.
