Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. To handle full set of accounts and responsible for timely month end closing, management reporting and other financial matters.
  2. To implement all policies, activities, procedures, instructions as relevant and required by the quality management system.
  3. To assist in preparation of financial forecast, annual budget and variance analysis.
  4. To assist in preparation of yearly audited report and tax returns.
  5. To maintain proper accounting policies and internal control procedures.
  6. To timely update banking transactions and reconciliation.
  7. To ensure accuracy, completeness, timeliness and data integrity of all financial data.
  8. To liaise with auditors, tax consultants and other professionals or regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements.
  9. To involve in all company events, especially sale launching activities.
  10. To undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the superior.

Requirements:

Qualification

  1. Candidate with at least Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent.
  2. Candidate with professional qualification is an added advantage.

Experience

  1. Candidate with at least 3 years of hands-on finance functions, preferably in property development, construction environment or with audit experiences.
  2. Candidate with only Diploma in Accounting/ Finance but possess more than 5 years of experience in property development sector will also be considered.

Skills

  1. Candidate who possesses strong knowledge and hands-on experience in accounting, taxation, financial reporting and analysis.
  2. Candidate who possesses experience in HDA accounting procedures.
  3. Candidate who possesses accounting software knowledge, preferably IFCA developer software.
  4. Candidate who is well-versed in Malaysia accounting standards, income tax, and SST.
  5. Candidate who is able to liaise with auditors and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements.
  6. Candidate who possesses excellent interpersonal skills and able to interact professionally with all levels of management and staff.
  7. Candidate who is computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Office especially Microsoft Excel.

Others

  1. Candidate who possesses sound understanding of property sales administration and accounting procedures.
  2. Candidate must be highly collaborative to work as a team and self-motivated to work independently with minimum supervision.
  3. Candidate must be able to perform in a high-paced and dynamic environment to meet the deadline of month end closing.
