Key Responsibilities :

  • Record and update day-to-day transactions, including journal entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of the general ledger, including reconciliations and closing entries.
  • Prepare and issue customer invoices and ensure timely collection of payments.
  • Ensure that all bank transactions are accurately reflected in the company's financial records.
  • Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
  • Assist in processing payroll, including salary disbursement, deductions, and compliance with labor laws.
  • Help maintain internal control systems to ensure accuracy and security of financial data.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of accounting experience: Practical experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or related roles is required.
  • Familiarity with preparing financial statements, invoices, and tax returns is often necessary.
  • Understanding of local tax laws, such as GST/VAT, income tax, and other applicable regulations.
  • Experience with payroll software or assisting in payroll processing is a plus.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve accounting discrepancies and financial issues.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing financial regulations and technologies.
